National Chairman of National Union of Students of India (NSUI) Neeraj Kundan has written to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for the postponement of NEET UG 2022. In his letter, the National President of NSUI said that since thousands of students will be appearing for the NEET UG 2022, the examination process should not be started or concluded “in a hurry”.

He also alleged that the delay in notice had reduced preparation time to a minimum and asked that NEET UG 2022 be postponed for at least 45 days.

WHAT DOES THE LETTER SAY?

In his letter to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, NSUI National Chairman Neeraj Kundan gave five reasons for the postponement of NEET UG 2022 namely:

1. The advice procedure for the previous academic session is already overdue. With minimal preparation time, it is difficult for a student to pass an exam with such competitiveness.

2. CUET, JEE and various other exams are already scheduled for July. All these exams are decisive for your career. With only one attempt, that too between these exams, it is not possible for the student to concentrate properly.

3. Due to delays in notification, preparation time has been kept to a minimum.

4. Many students may not get a seat in the previous counseling session. Therefore, it is unfair that the next review is done so quickly.

5. Students who opt for both engineering and medical prep during 11th and 12th grades would struggle to pass exams in such chaos.

REPORT NEET PG 2022

The letter from NSUI National President Neeraj Kundan went on to say, “There are thousands of students preparing for medical exams every year and this number is increasing every year. With millions of hopefuls, the process should not start or end in a hurry. »

Calling for the exam to be postponed, he added, “Given the genuine reasons stated above. Please defer the NEET UG exam for at least 45 days. In order for students to be both mentally and psychologically fit to appear for the exam.
