LAFAYETTE, La — UL’s reunion week may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean the festivities have to.
Whether you’re hopping in the tailgate tent, parading through the streets, or stopping by to see the Ragin’ Cajuns take on the South Alabama Jaguars – “All Roads Lead to Vermilion and White” – and it’s sure to be a fun time.
If you’re looking for something to do on your weekend, you won’t have to look far. Here’s what to expect:
Golden Ambassador Society Dinner at the Petroleum Club from 5:30 p.m.: Open to all graduates who celebrated their 50th reunion of graduates at the University. You must register to attend.
NPHC Greek Exhibition Starting at 7 p.m. at Blackham Coliseum: Watch NPHC fraternities and sororities strut their stuff in the step show.
Saturday October 1
Brunch Zydeco starting at 11 a.m. at the Cypress Lake Dining Hall inside the Student Union.
Student tailgate starting at noon at Cajun Field.
Graduate Tailgate begins at 1 p.m. at the Alumni Hospitality Tent at Cajun Field – 3 hours before kickoff.
return parade starting at 1:30 p.m.: Join UPC, Pride of Acadiana and the university community as they prepare for the game.
Ragin’ Louisiana Cajuns vs. South Alabama Jaguars kick off at 4 p.m. Tickets are compulsory.
“Sweet Sounds of Sharing” by Christina Smith Starting at 7:30 p.m.: The Christina Smith African American Alumni Chapter’s annual celebration for immaculate alumni and those who blazed the trail on the roads to vermilion and white.
